PrintCALC is a handy application to give you the percentage CMYK and Spot Colour coverage of you PDF files.

You can upload single or multi page PDFs.

Uploading a multi-page PDF allows you to obtain total or page by page CMYK coverage.

If you have PDFs to compare, combine them first to see how the separations and CMYK mix has changed.

PDF Optimisation

If you would like to have a PDF file optimised using Alwan CMYK Optimizer,
please attach your PDF to an email addressed to printcalc@colour-engine.com.
If the PDF passes preflighting you will receive an optimised verson back by email within a few minutes.
You can then upload the original and optimised file to compare the CMYK values.
The optimised file will have the TAC reduced to 299% and the separation standardised for printing according to ISO 12647-2.
PDFs can be up to 10mb in size.
